APOSTLE DR. MATTHEW J. SHAW
SENIOR PASTOR
Apostle Dr. Matthew J. Shaw is a most respected leader, a senior pastor, author and speaker at Christian conferences and seminars within the nation and abroad.
Apostle Shaw has served as a pastor for over 30 years and has been the senior pastor of Faith and Power Worship Center (FPWC) since inception in 1999. To date, he has trained and released thousands of Kingdom soldiers and ministers. Apostle Shaw encourages believers of God to be F.A.A.T - Faithful, Available, Accountable, and Teachable. He believes that it is not only possible but is essential to fulfill our life’s purpose; we are Kingdom people, doing Kingdom business.
As the author of 4 books, two published and two pending publishing, he aims to share his personal and directly encountered testimonies that display God’s awesome glory in his life and ministry.
Apostle Shaw’s experience in ministry is beyond his work through FPWC. He is a former Chaplain of the Orlando Predators and has served as Leader of the Men’s Ministry in a former ministry. He has been an Elder and board member of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC). Apostle Shaw also served in the United States Army for 8 and one-half years.
Apostle Shaw is currently married to Jameka, affectionately called “Lady J” by their congregants. They have been ministry partners and united in the bonds of holy matrimony since 2020. Three and a half years prior to their union, Apostle Shaw was married to Pamela for 45 years, who was his founding ministry partner before transitioning to glory in December of 2017.
Apostle Shaw is a dad of four biological sons (Jeffrey [Courtney], Dominick [Diana], Jonathan [Valentina], and Derrick [Amarylis]), one bonus son (Maximus) and one bonus daughter (Kyra). He currently has 11 brilliant grandchildren.
PASTOR JAMEKA SHAW
FIRST LADY
Jameka Shaw is a worshipper and servant of The Most High God. As the wife of Apostle Dr. Matthew J. Shaw, she serves the Faith and Power Worship Center body with humility and the love of God. She is affectionately known as “Lady J” and is a leader in ministry. She directs the women’s ministry of FPWC, Women of Excellence, is a leader and member of the dance ministry, R.E.M.E.D.Y., and has served in the Children’s ministry and on Event Planning boards.

Lady J is also a mom, daughter, sister and friend. She was born and raised in Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas and gave her life to Christ at the tender age of 14 in a revival service. Her early walk with God prepared her for the current work in ministry that she now walks in. God has been her firm foundation through her many transitions in life and throughout her 30+ year career in the financial industry, where she is currently employed with the oldest industry leading firm.

She testifies to the goodness of God and attests that God fulfills His promises, as He has demonstrated many times over in her life. One of those promises was fulfilled on August 8, 2020, when she married the love of her life, Apostle Dr. Matthew J. Shaw. Together, they enjoy their blended family, and she earnestly anticipates the glorious journey God has already prepared for them as they navigate the work He has to do through Faith and Power Worship Center.
